ADVISOR TO GOVERNOR OF JHARKHAND STATE ASSURES PROTECTION OF MEGALITHS

All our efforts of our campaign to protect Rola megaliths paid off. But that it would be so soon wasn't quite believed by all.

On  Sunday the 29th, I was visited by Mr. V.S. Dubey, the Chief Advisor to the Governor of Jharkhand . He came to town WITH THE SOLE PURPOSE TO VISIT THE MEGALITHIC SITES! Sounds incredible ? Well, miracles do happen. The entire town administration waking up from their deep hibernation followed the honourable officer to the three sties. The Commissioner, the Dy Commissioner, the town SDO, the BDOs, the whole media and press of the state, and you name it. 

I am explaining Punkree Burwadih megaliths to Mr Dubey the Advisor, the Commissioner and the DC.

A convoy of about ten cars rolled over to the sites to the amusement of the villagers. The Rola megaliths were cleared off  the lentils and shrubs that surrounded the the primitive monument to please the Advisor sahib.

So pleased was he that that he immediately announced the preservation of the sites. Mr Dubey has good idea of megaliths, seeing  Rola he commented that this megalith was different from  any megalith he has seen anywhere in the country!
