The recumbent Landscape Giants and pregnant Goddesses

Graham Russel runs a fasacinating page on Facebook by the name  of Earth Giants - Landscape Zodiacs - Earth Mysteries & Mythology . He has documented many such figured hills from all over the world which makes the page very unique and a must see as it comprises the most fascinating photographs of such hill forms.

Graham messages me : Landscape Giants have survived mainly through ancient stories, legends and traditions, and have only really survived because we can still see them in the landscape, remembering that some giants are bigger than others.

Despite the generations of change over the centuries, this secret knowledge of the landscape has remained fairly quiet and secretive, yet the knowledge of these giants has remained intact, and is only waiting to be rediscovered again. As the picture language is a very old language, it becomes clear to mind that pictures are one of the oldest forms of languages known to man. 

We can all admit to recognizing the same picture even though we may speak different languages, yet no matter what names or sounds we may call the picture we both still see the same thing. Therefore, even if the meaning does become lost we can both rediscover the meaning again through pictures. 

Ancient peoples, who also communicated in this way, recorded their knowledge by going to great lengths to build in stone and draw with paint to immortalize giants in their landscape...

In India similar landscape figures of recumbent pregnant Mother Goddesses and sleeping giants can be seen  and many are found to be aligned to megaliths. The 'Gaya mahatma' talks of the sleeping giant Gayasur on whom Lord Vishnu conducts a yagna. The sleeping giant figure of Gayasur though vaguely visible due to overcrowded buildings all around yet the figure is identifiable from the river Falgu looking towards the city.

Today as Graham narrates the secret knowledge of the landscape has remained secretive is required to be discovered once again. Such hills live in India has survived in folklores and in our Puranas. We need to interpret such myths correctly.
